Kate has over 30 years’ experience working in state and local government roles across regional and remote Queensland. During this time, she has undertaken varied roles in road construction, project management, program management, administration and leadership. She brings with her the ability to communicate verbally and in writing to provide training, reporting, presentations and briefings; ability to establish and maintain relationships based on mutual trust and respect; work collaboratively in a timely and effective way to achieve solutions and outcomes that meet your vision and overarching objectives; appreciation of the Queensland Government operating environment to enable the early identification of potential risks and challenges in achieving your targets while maintaining focus on your goals; the ability to produce and analyse financial reporting tools at both project and program level; monitor and report on financial and physical progress of projects and programs of work; knowledge of procurement, scheduling, contract and project management procedures, processes and systems. Kate is based in Barcaldine, western Queensland, where she is a community volunteer for numerous organisations and understands the importance and needs of volunteer groups and can translate this into successful grant applications. Kate is excited to bring her depth of experience in the public sector to the Red Tape Busters team and our clients.
