Exciting news and continued success for the Red Tape Busters Team

Our Gold Coast Consultant, Melissa Newman, has just won one of her clients a five year tender with a government agency worth over $800,000. Anyone who has ever looked at a tender proposal and what is required in a response will know that it can be a long and confusing process, our client was no exception.

Melissa undertook some background research and aligned the business goals/objectives and ethos of our client with the requirements of the tender provider. She documented processes, made sure each statement made could be backed up by policy and formulated competitive pricing schedules. The final tender proposal was thorough, innovative and displayed capability, experience and value for money.  It was exactly what the tender review panel was looking for.

To say our client was happy is an understatement; Melissa’s tender response gave our client that winning edge that got them over the line despite some outstanding competition. Well done Melissa!

We have also been notified of a number of successful grants prepared by our outstanding consultants. While these are only small grants compared to many of our other successes (eg $4.9 million for disability housing) – they are certainly no less important.

Congratulations to our consultants Amy Rosanowski and Gina Foster for a job well done:

  • $30,000 to fund purchase of furniture and training equipment – North Stradbroke Island Rugby League (Amy);

  •
    $30,000 to fund installation of lights on tennis courts – Maroochydore Tennis Club (Gina);

  • $30,000 to fund purchase of computer equipment and accounting software – Gatton Golf Club (Amy);

  • $7,500 to fund the purchase of office equipment – Sunshine Coast District Mens Bowls Association (Gina);

  • $23,000 to fund the purchase of office and training equipment – Wandiny RAPASS Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders Corporation (Shane).

Further to these successes, we have been advised that our Sunshine Coast Consultant has recently had some outstanding wins for clients:

These include:

  • $30,000 for the Sunshine Coast District Men’s Bowls Association to help fund their Winter Carnival;

  • $4,000 for the Sunshine Coast District Men’s Bowls Association to help put an application to Bowls Queensland to hold the 2010 State District Championships;

  • $14,500 for change rooms for the Noosa Rugby Club; and

  • $15,000 for Maroochydore Tennis Club for Tennis Court Upgrade.

All in all a fantastic result.

Both Gina and Amy have also been successful in getting some of their clients $50 BP fuel cards.
