The Red Tape Busters team has been developed to ensure we are particularly conscious of our clients’ requirements - both from a business/operational view point and financially.

Shane Bowering – Managing Director of Red Tape Busters
 
Shane provides a wealth of experience and skills to Red Tape Busters. Shane is a former senior public servant with the Queensland Government.  He brings over twenty years of experience in liaising, consulting, negotiating with and advising members of the public, industry bodies and public sector employees on Government strategies and objectives, policies, legislation and processes.
 
Having been on the inside Shane understands the workings of Government and therefore can provide specialist advice to our clients and direction to our consultants on how best to achieve their required outcomes. Shane has significant skills and knowledge relative to the public transport and trucking sector. He also has significant experience in reviewing and restructuring business units within Government Departments and realigning work processes to achieve both productivity dividends and financial savings.
 

Sharon Martens - Manager, Financial Services, Red Tape Busters
   
Sharon has vast experience in financial services having previously worked for the Commonwealth Bank for 19 years. She worked in all areas of the bank and dealt with a vast array of tasks including accounts, balancing and customer service.
 
Sharon’s key role at Red Tape Busters is to oversee the financial performance of the company. She hold responsibility for invoicing clients, undertaking financial planning activities, monitoring income and expenditure, resolving outstanding debts and liaising with clients regarding financial management issues.
 

 
Melissa Newman - Manager, Sales and Marketing, Red Tape Busters
 
Melissa joined the Red Tape Busters team as our Marketing Manager. She has significant experience in administrative management, financial and compliance roles bringing with her a very diverse range of skills and experience. 

Melissa has facilitated workshops, served as an independent panel member for recruitment and selection processes, conducted risk assessments and carried out audits and administrative reviews. She has solid experience as a negotiator, has undertaken extensive work in policy creation and interpretation, conducted workplace health and safety assessments and coordinated administrative management for executive offices.
 
She has worked as part of a project team during restructures and change management and has been responsible for information coordination during these processes. She has also developed workflow processes in executive offices to streamline operations and output. 
 
Melissa manages our client contacts and is responsible for identifying potential clients and in promoting our services nationwide. We are very excited about Melissa joining our team and expanding our clientele.
 
 
Theresa Wickham - Red Tape Buster Consultant, Toowoomba and South West Queensland Region
 

Theresa has recently joined the Red Tape Busters team to provide outstanding service to clients in the Toowoomba & South West Queensland region. She has considerable experience in project management, primarily at a Federal level.

Theresa’s roles have included Rehabilitation Counsellor for the Commonwealth Rehabilitation Service, Manager of a Disability Advocacy Service and more recently Project Manager with Southern Inland Queensland Area Consultative Committee (SIQACC). She was responsible for creating and identifying project opportunities, developing and preparing extensive funding submissions and providing detailed reports to Government bodies. Due to this role, Theresa has been able to develop strong regional networks while working in partnership with Government, the community and business to achieve regional economic growth.

During her time with the ACC, Theresa was successful in securing close to $4 million of funding for Southern Inland Queensland. This was achieved through various programs ranging from all levels of Government grants, philanthropic funding and business opportunities.

Theresa has worked across a diverse range of industry sectors and has also worked closely with Government on strategic planning, policy development and regional tourism priorities. Her education achievements include a Bachelor of Social Science – Psychology, obtained through Charles Sturt University, majoring in Criminology.

Theresa is dedicated in assisting clients to achieve the best possible outcome and providing excellence in all areas of service to the Toowoomba & South West Region. Red Tape Busters is excited about this new venture and welcomes Theresa to the team.


 
Jennifer Haydon - Red Tape Buster Consultant, Brisbane CBD
 
Jennifer’s well developed strategic planning and writing skills have been developed from a range of private and public organisations across diverse industry sectors.  Her roles have included Manager of the Faculty of Indigenous Research & Education and a Research Associate at the Institute of Advanced Studies and Tourism Research Group at Charles Darwin University. Jennifer was responsible for the production of research papers, reports to Government, grant proposals and funding submissions.
 
Upon relocating to Brisbane in May 2006 she took up a position as a Researcher and Grant Writer at the National Centre for Studies in Travel and Tourism, which was then affiliated with the Sustainable Tourism Cooperative Research Centre.  During this time her work focused on developing Queensland’s regional economies and benchmarking regional tourism organisations.
 
Jennifer also has extensive experience in the production of Federal and State Government tenders, award nominations and marketing pitches for private enterprise.  Jennifer has worked as an International Conference and Event Manager with projects in China and South East Asia and also managed the script writing and production process for the latest feature attraction at MovieWorld on the Gold Coast.
 
Jennifer Haydon’s academic qualifications include a Master of Community Development, Graduate Diploma in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, Bachelor of Law and Administration and a Certificate of Investment and Personal Financial Planning.  She is also an accomplished creative writer. Jennifer brings a wealth of experience to Red Tape Busters and we are excited by her addition to the team.
 

 

      Amy Rosanowski - Red Tape Buster Consultant, Brisbane West and Ipswich

 

     Amy joins the Red Tape Busters team after many years working with State and Federal Government Departments. With qualifications in the areas of Human Resources, Organisational Behaviour and Industrial Relations, Amy has significant experience in both human resource management and general operational management at very senior levels of Government.

 

     Amy brings with her a wide range of skills and experience, includiing strategic and operational planning and management, facilitation and change management. Amy is valuable in assisting both our commercial and non profit clients in a wide range of human resource areas such as candidate attraction, recruitment and selection, workplace health and safety, learning and development, training and performance management.

 

     Amy is also invaluable in assisting clients in complying with legislative requirements and in sourcing and identifying funding opportunities. Amy understands the workings of Government, including the management of funding programs, and as such Amy is ideally placed to assist our clients. Amy has a strong commitment to providing outstanding customer service and looks forward to assisting clients in the western suburbs of Brisbane and the Ipswich area.

 

 

Zoe Scrogings  - Red Tape Buster Consultant, Sunshine Coast

 

Zoe manages our Sunshine Coast operations. Zoe has over 12 years experience working with young people and their communities within government, non-government, education, health, welfare and cross-cultural contexts both nationally and within South-East Asia.

 

In her role as Artistic Director/CEO for Brisbane based arts company Contact Inc her visionary approach saw the organisation grow and become internationally recognised for innovative intercultural community development and produce an award winning body of quality music clips and performances.

 

Under Zoe's direction Contact Inc managed to secure several major long-term funding agreements with Federal, State and local government as well as a 3 year partnership with The Foundation for Young Australian's and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Arts Board (Australia Council for the Arts). A major highlight was in 2007 when the company was successful in becoming one of 11 companies in Australia to receive 6 years funding and receive Key Producer status with Community Partnerships (Australia Council for the Arts) for outstanding achievements within community cultural development.  

 

From this experience Zoe has developed a long-term and strategic approach to securing funding and is passionate about sharing her networks and supporting individuals and groups to navigate the funding maze.

 

When she's not writing grants she is completing her Diploma of Education at Sunshine Coast University and raising her baby daughter Alize'. Zoe is excited in joining Red Tape Busters and assisting Sunshine Coast clients.
